Confronting Your Lions

Energy:  Everything is God substance, God energy, moving at different vibrations.

·        Energy moves in, through and around us.

·        Negative beliefs and emotions, and fears block or congest our energy flow.

Faith:  Faith is the antidote to fear.  Faith (absolute conviction) brings a sense of both mental and physical relief.

·        An inner calm and peace blankets you and you suddenly know all is well.

·        Instead of being “congested”, your energy circulation returns.

Fear:  Fear is our only enemy.  It is faith turned upside-down.

·        Jesus said:  “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?”

·        If you can only believe, all things are possible.

·        Linked with God’s Power, we are invincible.

·        Why? Because the battle is God’s, not ours.

Enemies:  The Bible, from a metaphysical perspective, is talking about different states of consciousness and it is filled with myriad “enemies”.

·        Our enemies are really our doubts and fears, our criticisms, and our resentments.

·        Every negative thought and emotion is our enemy.

·        Fear is at the top of the list of negative emotions.

“Man, know thyself and know thyself as God; and know that the only foe that you can overcome in your life is your own fear or internal schism or compromise or failure to surrender truly to God.”  - Anonymous?

God-Self:  Our higher, spiritual consciousness, our Christ/God self, is our home of fearless faith and place of safety.

·        There we can rise above all adverse conditions and God’s battle is won.

·        When you let God fight the battle for you, great blessings come out of every adverse situation.

·        “For thy God will turn the curse into a blessing for thy God loveth thee.”

Gentle Receptivity:

·        The Old Testament says:   “Be still & know that I am God”.

o       Know means “absolute belief –absolute conviction”.

o       It means be open and receptive (meditative) and have faith.

·        The New Testament says:  “The Bridegroom awaits the Bride”.

o       Biblical Jews used the term “daughter” or “bride” to refer to the state of “gentle receptivity” or surrender or submission of the lower mind or ego self.

o       Biblical Jews used “son” or “bridegroom” to refer to the state of “confidence and power”, “Kingship”, “Ruling”, “Commanding”, and “Speaking Boldly” that are attributes of the Higher Mind (spiritual self).

o       It is difficult for most of us to “stand still”, to be “meek”, to have “gentle receptivity” - to be the bride to our awaiting bridegroom.

What is Happening?

·        All these terms are synonyms for surrender or submission to our Higher Selves, to the God within, to our Higher consciousness – the Bridegroom

·        With open receptivity we are surrendering to our Higher/God Self, and by faith, marry the Conscious Mind with the Superconscious Mind.

Marriage:  When the bride and groom unite, without schisms, the bridegroom is transformed into a boldly brave, commanding, authority – into a Ruler and King to whom all things are possible with Faith.

·        The marriage is like a chemistry experiment in more ways than one.

·        When you mix the right elements together, when Lower Mind is Receptive & submissive to Higher Mind - Infinite Mind, Faith is present, & you have a powerful chemical reaction, producing a new compound (Form, Condition, Effect).

·        Miracles happen.  All is possible.

Standing Still:  It is difficult for most of us to “stand still” which means “keep your poise” and let Infinite Intelligence/Mind run the situation.

·        People try to rush into battle and handle everything themselves.

·        Their Lower Minds, Egos,  try to control the outcome.

·        This brings defect and failure.

Face the Lion (Fear):  “Ye shall not need to fight in this battle; set yourself; stand ye still and see the salvation of God who is with you.  Tomorrow go out against your enemies for God will be with you.”

·        This means not to run away from the situation, but walk fearlessly and face the lion, the enemy, and the lion will turn into a pussy-cat.

·        The lion takes his fierceness from your fear, so have fearless courage.

·         “Courage has genius, magic, and power in it.”

Secret:  Always introduce the opposite thought, emotion, words, or action of the negative condition you want to change.

Story of Daniel (Daniel 10-28):  King Darius threw Daniel into the Lion’s Den, where Daniel spent the night, because 3 times a day he prayed & petitioned God instead of the King (Lower Mind/Ego) which was a violation of the King’s law.  But Daniel was a “servant of the living God” and his “faith was great”.  God sent “his angels and shut the lions’ mouths so that they could not hurt Daniel.”

·        The Light and Might of Spirit saved Daniel from the Lions.

·        Everyday a lion of some sort appears on our pathway, be it the lion of lack, limitation, fear, injustice, dread, self-control, and so on.

·        But we can immediately walk up to our lion, confront it, and watch is transmute into something harmless.

·        But if you run, it will always be at your heels.

·        You cannot run away from your troubles, as they are a part of you - Where you go, they go.

Always Safe:  In order to hold the things you love and cherish, you must know that they are always safe, that they are divinely protected; therefore, nothing can harm them.

·        Don’t let your fears actually attract the situation you fear (Law of Attraction).

·        Like Daniel, be meek and confront you lions, and let God take care of the rest.
