Planting Good Seeds

Bible: Matthew says: “And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way-side & the fowl (birds) devoured them.” 

Problem:  In planting, you know some of the seeds don’t germinate or grow.

Solution:  But you planted so many positive, healthy, seeds, you won’t starve even if some of the seeds don’t grow. Besides, you are still planting seeds.  That means you are planting –

• positive thoughts,
• positive ideas,
• reading,
• taking classes,
• doing affirmations,
• associating with good people,
• and working on your projects.

Law:  You are working on the garden of your mind and have a lot of seeds planted; you can always plant more - that is the Law of Nature, the Law of Life. 

• Because we understand the Law,
• we aren’t discouraged when our seeds don’t germinate;
• we realize it and get up and keep planting. 

Choice: What other choice do you have?   

• Story:  During the Vietnam War, I met a many who had been famous race-car driver.  Racing was his passion.  While in Vietnam he had just lost his arm. But he still had a positive attitude.  In speaking to him, I asked him how he was able to keep such a positive attitude. He replied: “What’s my choice?” 
• Moral:  You don’t have a choice but to think positively. Since then, he went to college under the GI bill and is now a successful attorney.

God’s Gift:  Free will means either you 1) choose to love and serve God and live the principles of Life or 2) you don’t. 

Principles:  The principles are always going to be working;

• You always will be creating.  
• Divine Intelligence will always be flowing through your mind, taking your ideas and creating a crop because your ideas are seeds.

Question:  So why not use that same power to produce prosperity, love, joy, healthy, happiness – all the good – making progress, going from good to good?

Conclusion: 

• Take responsibility for your projects, your feelings, attitudes, and finances – for all of them and don’t give up.
• Keep planting good seeds.
