1. Communicate with 7 Directions:
Face East, raise arms towards the East, and say: Spirits of the East, Grandmother Eagle, keeper of the dawn, hope of the new day, I give thanks for the sunrise and I ask you to bathe me in illumination.
Face South, raise arms towards direction and say: Spirits of the South, Coyote, Keeper of the flame of creation, I give thanks for hear and passion and ask you to make my will strong.
Face West, raise arms towards the direction, and say: Spirits of the West,
Grandmother Dolphin, daughter of the sunset, keepers of the waters, I give thanks for cleansing rains and ask you to open my heart.
Face North, raise arms towards the North, and say: Spirits of the North,
Grandmother/ Grandfather Buffalo, keepers of the Mystery, I give thanks for
healing silence and ask that I may grown in patience.
Face above, raise arms towards the heavens and say: Sun Mother/Father, radiant Protectors of the earth I give thanks for the love You shower on all life, and I ask that You fill my heart with warm generosity.
Face Down, reach out your arms towards the Earth, and say: Earth Mother sacred Life-Giver, I give thanks for your bounty and ask for abundance.
Hold your stomach (solar plexus area and say: I am the Center, and I give thanks for this life, night here, right now. I ask to be centered.
Now breath deeply, all the qualities you prayed for fully and deeply into your
center.
2. Opening Your Heart to Mother:
Put your hands over your heart and pray, saying: Earth Mother open my heart to you. Help me to get closer to you in all ways. Let me serve you well. Bathe me in your Unconditional Love.
Let me feel your healing wholeness. Let me share with you what is in my mind. I pray for your answer.
Now, listen for an answer Mother. (This answer might come from something you notice in nature; the way a bird calls, the way an insect behaves, the sound of the wind in the leaves. Or her answer may come to you at the level of feelings, ideas, visualizations you may have.)
When you are finished with your communications to Earth Mother, thank her for her love and wisdom.
