Crowley Thoth Tarot Deck The powerful Thoth Tarot deck was designed by Aleister Crowley, an influencial and controversial occultist of the early 20th century. He worked on the deck from 1938 to 1943. This deck was created to illustrate Crowley's The Book of Thoth. The artist is Lady Frieda Harris. She worked with Crowley's rough sketches to produce images that would be faithful to his interpretations and her own vision. The Thoth deck comes in two sizes. The large size has green borders with more muted colors. The small size is the same as the Swiss version of this deck and comes with 3 versions of the Magus (Magician card). This deck is also available as a deck/book set that includes the small deck and the book Tarot: Mirror of the Soul by Gerd Ziegler.
