Angels Tarot

Rosemary Ellen Guiley and Robert Place created the Angels Tarot as a tool to help people connect with angelic inspiration and guidance. They have combined the traditional structure of the tarot with their understanding of these heavenly beings and the powers they represent. Each major arcana card is a different angel or being whose nature corresponds to the tarot meaning of that card. The name of the angel is given with a description of his or her specialty and the card number. The minor arcana suits are hearts, diamonds, clubs and spades. The suit tokens consist of an angel face and wings formed into the standard suit symbol shape. The court cards are the king, queen, knight and lady. This deck comes as a set with The Angels Tarot also by Guiley and Place. This book offers information on the history and lore of angels and details about each one (115 pages). Guiley and Place also collaborated on the Alchemical Tarot, and Place created the Tarot of the Saints.
