Tarot of Marseilles The Tarot of Marseilles is a traditional deck style with many variants. This edition is based on the deck published by Jean Dodal in Lyon around 1700. It has been recolored based on the original artwork. The publisher is Carta Mundi in Belgium, and U. S. Games distributes the deck. The major arcana titles on this version are in English, but titles on original Marseilles decks are usually French and often misspelled. The cardmaker's name, and the city in which he worked, appears within a ribbon on the two of Coins. On this version, the phrase "Carta Mundi Turnout" is printed on this ribbon. The Angel Tarot and Tarot Classic are other decks in the Tarot of Marseilles style.
