Tapestry Tarot Yvonne Jensen is a textile artist from Rotterdam, the Netherlands. She has created 80 woven cloth portraits using varied materials such as paint, fabric, metal objects and ropes. These tapestries were inspired by the Tahroh, her term for the tarot. Jensen renamed the tarot as an anagram of "Hathor," the ancient Egyptian goddess and patron of women, beauty and love. She feels that the Hathor Temple at Dendera is a secret source of wisdom and inspiration. The Tapestry Tarot is a reproduction of Jensen's 80 wall-hangings. There are two extra major arcana cards in this deck: the Earth (23) and the Universe (24), which is also the back design of the cards. The original tapestries are currently being exhibited at the National Playing Card Museum in Turnhout, Belgium.
