Vampire Tarot

Artist Nathalie Hertz has continued the dark and mysterious mood of her Fantastical Tarot in her latest deck - the Vampire Tarot. Again we see the gaunt, angular faces and deepset eyes, although this time in the context of the world of the undead. The images are based on original paintings highlighted with metallic inks, special paper and fabric. The background is black with two grey borders to right and left surrounded by a thin red line. The Vampire Tarot is traditional in the names of the major arcana, court cards and suits. The numbered cards of each suit have a certain look in common, unique to that suit. The swords show a grey figure, the wands a small wall-painting, the cups a curtain and window or door, and the pentacles a story scene.
