Vision Quest Tarot The Vision Quest Tarot is inspired by Native American wisdom and tradition. Gayan Sylvie Winter and Jo Dose have tried to combine the spirit of the traditional tarot with the spirit of the medicine wheel (the World card is called the Big Medicine Wheel). Major arcana figures have become tribal figures such as the Medicine Man for the Magician. The four minor arcana suits are the four elements. Each is symbolized by an object from Native American life: the arrow for fire (wands), jars/bowls for water (cups), feathers/birds for air (swords) and vegetables/flowers for earth (pentacles). The instruction booklet is larger than usual. Included for each card is a set of keyword meanings, an inner message of guidance, and a description of how the card's message might be manifesting outwardly. The main keyword meaning is also printed on each numbered minor arcana card.
