A people whom I have not known shall serve me. 18:45The foreigners shall fade away, 18:46Yahweh lives; and blessed be my rock. 18:47Even the God who executes vengeance for me, 18:48He rescues me from my enemies. 18:49Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, 18:50He gives great deliverance to his king, Psalm 19For the Chief Musician. My heart is like wax; 22:15My strength is dried up like a potsherd. You have brought me into the dust of death. 22:16For dogs have surrounded me. 22:17I can count all of my bones. They look and stare at me. 22:18They divide my garments among them.
22:19But don't be far off, Yahweh. 22:20Deliver my soul from the sword, 22:21Save me from the lion's mouth; 22:22I will declare your name to my brothers. 22:23You who fear Yahweh, praise him! 22:24For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted,

35:13But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth. 35:14I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother. 35:15But in my adversity, they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. 35:16Like the profane mockers in feasts, 35:17Lord, how long will you look on? 35:18I will give you thanks in the great assembly. 35:19Don't let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; 35:20For they don't speak peace, 35:21Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me. 35:22You have seen it, Yahweh. Don't keep silent. 35:23Wake up! Rise up to defend me, my God! 35:24Vindicate me, Yahweh my God, according to your righteousness; 35:25Don't let them say in their heart, "Aha! That's the way we want it!" 35:26Let them be put to shame and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity.
35:27Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. 35:28My tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long. Psalm 36For the Chief Musician. By David, the servant of Yahweh. 36:1An oracle is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: 36:2For he flatters himself in his own eyes, 36:3The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. 36:4He plots iniquity on his bed.
36:5Your lovingkindness, Yahweh, is in the heavens. 36:6Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. 36:7How precious is your lovingkindness, God! 36:8They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. 36:9For with you is the spring of life. 36:10Oh continue your lovingkindness to those who know you, 36:11Don't let the foot of pride come against me. 36:12There the workers of iniquity are fallen. Psalm 37By David. 37:1Don't fret because of evil-doers, 37:2For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, 37:3Trust in Yahweh, and do good. 37:4Also delight yourself in Yahweh, 37:5Commit your way to Yahweh. 37:6He will make your righteousness go forth as the light, 37:7Rest in Yahweh, and wait patiently for him. 37:8Cease from anger, and forsake wrath. 37:9For evildoers shall be cut off, 37:10For yet a little while, and the wicked will be no more. 37:11But the humble shall inherit the land, 37:12The wicked plots against the just, 37:13The Lord will laugh at him, 37:14The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, 37:15Their sword shall enter into their own heart. 37:16Better is a little that the righteous has, 37:17For the arms of the wicked shall be broken, 37:18Yahweh knows the days of the perfect. 37:19They shall not be put to shame in the time of evil.
37:20But the wicked shall perish. |
