Architects

We are truly the architects of our lives.  An intelligent person finds out what their options are – and there are unlimited options.

Without knowing or having a goal, there is no real passion in life.  Nothing motivates us.  There is nothing to keep us going.

We lose our desire and hope.  We think or say:

·        “I’m too old or over the hill” or

·        “Too many things didn’t work out, so I won’t try anymore, I won’t dare to dream” or

·        “I won’t even have a goal; I’ll just get on, one day at a time.”

But such thinking causes depression, tiredness, and boredom because we are naturally goal setting.

Do you know what both the idle rich and the idle poor have in common?  They are both bored and miserable.  Do you know why?  Because they have no goals.

For human beings there is a real purpose to life.  We are to find out about God, to learn about God, and to serve God.  We are to use our God given talents and abilities to serve others up to our last breath.

Your last breath here will be your first breath somewhere else.  For every door that closes, another one opens instantly.

We are really the architects of our lives.  We are the masters of our destiny & this is very important.  Every man, woman and child needs to realize this.

Each of us has all the opportunity, all the benefits, and all the rewards.  All the good we want is available to each of us.  But God can only give to you?  - What God can give through you.

There is infinite power & it is flowing through your mind now, but you must direct it by your thoughts.

You must direct it by having an object, by having a goal, by having something you can focus on that allows you to direct that energy in a positive way.

Otherwise, the energy gets diffused or turned into self-pity, resentment, regret or envy or hatred.

These negative emotions eat away and destroy our lives.

So, you are in charge of your own life.  You are either the “captain of your own ship” or the “chicken of the sea”.  Which are you?

Planting Your Garden

Jesus was a great spiritual teacher.  His parable of the sower  (Matthew) expounds on the system God gave us to manifest our dreams.  Matthew says: “Behold a sower went forth to sow.”

This means we are the sower of seeds, the builders of our Garden.

In One Spirit Ministries we want to build a beautiful garden in our hearts, a beautiful garden in our yards, a beautiful garden within our communities, a beautiful garden upon our planet.  We want to realize heaven on earth while we are still on earth.

But the garden starts within because even if everyone else wants to live in a junkyard or hell, we can live in Paradise because we are using the principles first on ourselves.  We are using them to build a beautiful garden in our minds, in our motions, in our hearts, and in our lives.

So we are out here, everywhere, sowing seeds.  To sow seeds, we first need to know what type of seeds to sow. If we go out to get any old seeds and throw them into our minds, accepting the ideas, and planting them in our hearts, we may grow a whole crop of weeds, thorns and stickers.  And we ask:  “What happened? What went wrong?”

But you didn’t check the seeds.  If some of the seed died or didn’t produce fruit, you’d be starving to death.  Whose fault is it that you bought dead seeds? Dead ideas? Dead thoughts?

We are totally and completely accountable by the Law of Karma (Cause and Effect).  As you sow, so shall you reap.

If you sow and you don’t like what you are reaping, you will weep and “there will be a gnashing of teeth.”  RRRR…RRRR That’s somewhere in the Bible.

Why are we “gnashing those teeth”?  Because we are reaping what we don’t want.  But we are the sower.  So whatever you have, like it!  It’s your crop. Enjoy it!  Even if it’s terrible.  Like it.  It’s yours honey! Enjoy it!

Next season, be more careful.  Get knowledge.  Know what you are planting and how to plant it.
