Faith’s Formula

Average Person:  The average person is a resenter, resister or regretter. 

• They resent people we know and people we don’t know. 
• They resist everything, particularly change.
• They regret everything we do and failed to do. 

Do you know some people who fall into these categories?

Energy Drainers:   It is difficult for us to be around such people.

• They drain our energy. 
• They even exhaust their friends and relatives. 
• But this happens because they are not living in the “now”, instead, they are stuck or caught in the past. 
• They haven’t “changed”. 

Why? - Because of fear –

• Fear of rejection, criticism, loss of love, the unknown. 
• They are afraid to live in the “now”; they are afraid to be fearless. 
• They know not that fearless faith and the spoken word release an abundant supply of power, peace, harmony, and love.

Quote:  The Bible says:  “Behold, I make all things new.” 

• By our words of truth, we can make new minds, bodies and circumstances.   
• When all fear is obliterated, we live magical, successful lives filled with opulent abundance. 

Religion:  Most religions, particularly Christianity and Judaism, are founded on Faith. 

• Faith gives us a “mystic’s assurance”, a truthful recognition, that impresses the subconscious mind.
• With Faith a way opens for the manifestation of health, wealth, and happiness. 
• There is an endless, invisible, unlimited supply for everyone. 
• Before we even called to God, we were answered. 
• This supply is waiting to be released by Faith and the spoken Word. 
• It is an exact science.  Jesus taught it.

Electricity:  God power is energy, subject to Laws, just as electricity is subject to the laws of electricity. 

• Thomas Edison had faith in the laws of electricity.
• He knew electricity could be harnessed and directed.  
• After years of dedicated experimentation,  he did harness and direct this wonderful energy which now lights the world 

Teacher Jesus:  Similarly, Jesus taught us to harness and direct thought.

• He knew that fear was a dangerous, uncontrolled energy force. 
• Words, ideas, thoughts, emotions, and imagination must be handled with wisdom and understanding. 

Laboratory:  The Mind is our laboratory. 

• An uncontrollable mind, with thoughts running wild, builds fears, worries and anxieties.  
• We are all born and raised in a world filled with doubts and fears.
• How many watch the evening news?

Freedom:  What a beautiful world this would be if all anxiety, worry, and fear were eradicated instead of making us slaves to our fears and destroying our health, wealth, and happiness. We’d be free.

Formula:  There is only one way of getting rid of fear. 

• We must transmute fear into its opposite, Faith. 
• Jesus gave us the solution, the formula, when he said: “Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith?” 
• There is a reciprocal relationship between fear and faith.
• The less fear, the more the faith, and visa versa.

Conclusion:  The more we confront our fears, the stronger our faith becomes.
