Light of the World

When the great spiritual teacher Jesus proclaimed,  “I am the Light of the world…” he was speaking of the inner light that gives life and intelligence to all creation.  He was declaring the Truth - that we each have the intelligence, life, and light of God within us. 

You are the Light of the World.  (Point to everyone)

The development or evolution of this spiritual light, the awakening to our God consciousness, our Christ consciousness, is the ultimate destiny for each of us.

We may resist, even fight it, but there will be an innate discontentment, an inner schism, and a restlessness, that will guide us, drive us, and even push us, to this Truth, until we awaken to our true natures, our Higher Selves, our God Selves.  Only then are our lives in “at-one-ment” (atonement) with God’s life and we feel perfect fulfillment.

When we gain this understanding of spirit and master the Law of Life for good, for love, for peace…when we see spirit in all,  then we will see the God’s Light flashing into expression and feel its influence, and will be moved to higher pursuits by it.

The highest pursuit of all is to Love, Know, and Service God.
